I am a seasoned Information Technology professional with over 22 years of comprehensive experience in the IT and Information Security sectors. For the past 15 years, I have held senior managerial roles, gaining hands-on global experience across a range of industries including financial services, technology and software development, and the charity sector. I specialize in ICT Services and Information Security, holding several international certifications that reflect my commitment to excellence and continuous learning.

Throughout my career, I have demonstrated expertise in high-level technology management, project planning, implementation, and people management. My skills encompass a wide range of areas, including ICT Business, IT Security & Management, Technology Management, and Professional Training. I have successfully led multiple projects, focusing on strategic planning, development, deployment, and implementation.

My technical background is rooted in both Microsoft Windows and Linux platforms, and I have proven my proficiency in various aspects of Infrastructure Technologies, Cybersecurity, ICT Security Architecture, IT Infrastructure Planning, and IT Services Management (ITSM). I have also provided professional training on Infrastructure and IT Security.

Over the years, I have contributed to numerous overseas projects and training programs in Cyber Security in countries such as the UK, Netherlands, Italy, Germany, India, Kenya, Pakistan, Nepal, Philippines, Singapore, Laos, Cambodia, Myanmar, Bangladesh, Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Australia. My work also extends to serving as a subject matter expert in the National Police Academy Sri Lanka for their Diploma in Cyber Crime Investigation program.

I am currently pursuing a PhD in Cyber Forensics while holding a master’s degree in Information Technology with a specialization in Networking from the University of Colombo School of Computing, where I graduated with Distinction. Additionally, I received the prestigious Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) Award in 2011 (Gold Medal).

My technical credentials are backed by high-level certifications from Microsoft and the EC-Council. I am one of the few individuals to achieve over 90% in the EC-Council’s Certified Penetration Testing Professional 24-hour long practical exam, earning me the Certified Licensed Penetration Tester (Master) qualification. As a Microsoft Certified Trainer, I conduct a range of Microsoft training sessions, including Azure Architect Level and Microsoft 365 Enterprise Administrator courses. I am also an EC-Council Certified Instructor for various cybersecurity certifications.
